News · North Miami Athletics Event Guidelines

Warrior Nation,

County Athletic Directors and Superintendents have met multiple times over the last week with the Health Department to try and come up with a safe and effective plan for our athletes. We would love to pack our stadium and arena with our fans, but under the current circumstances we will need to take steps for that to happen. We ultimately want our athletes to be able to play!

Beginning Monday, August 17 there will be regulations set in place that all county schools will have to follow. These regulations will go through Monday, August 24 and will be re-evaluated. Below you will see the guidelines recommend for each sport at North Miami home events. When it comes to away events, we will follow the guidelines set by that school and the health officials. We will make sure to communicate regulations from other schools with our athletes, coaches, and fans.

V/JV Volleyball

A max of 2 tickets per athlete, manager, and coach with assigned seating in sections. The athletic department will get a list of players, managers, and coaches before the event. When a spectator arrives, they will tell the ticket taker which athlete, manager, or coach they are there to watch. They will then get their ticket with their assigned section. Remember only 2 tickets per athlete, manager, and coach. No students, staff, or teachers will be to attend these events, unless attending for the group mentioned above. Social distancing required. Mask must be worn. We are currently looking at ways to live stream volleyball matches. More details to come.

This will apply for the following games:

8/18/2020 vs Logansport

8/20/2020 vs Kokomo

Tomahawk Tourney on Saturday, August 22. There will be NO FANS attending. We will have 10 teams coming in and we believe to keep our athletes safe and continue the tourney, we must proceed with these regulations.
